This dedication is in recognition of those, whose hands labored with love in bringing to life the most phenomenal  clocks on the planet.  As a result, you created beauty into art.  You have not been forgotten.

Richard Herschede Sr. spent over 50 years dedicating his life to the Herschede Hall Clock Company.  Herschede was the third generation to carry on a clock-making tradition that began over 100 years ago in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Mr. Herschede retired as executive vice president after having served in every aspect of the company's operation.  A Haverford model Herschede Hall Clock was presented to him by the company, a favorite of his that had been in production for over 40 years.
